The ex-President Donald J. Trump has been given a deadline of midday on August 25th to willingly present himself to the authorities in Fulton County, as announced by the district attorney, Fani T. Willis, this past Monday.

The official arrest and booking procedure in Atlanta for the former leader is expected to differ from the norm, mirroring the deviations experienced during his prior arrest on distinct charges in New York back in April.

In the Big Apple, legal officials reached out to Trump’s legal representative on the evening of March 30th to “align the surrender timings with the Manhattan D.A.’s office for presentation,” revealed a tweet from the D.A., Alvin Bragg. Such moves aren’t unprecedented since individuals implicated in white-collar crimes frequently get the opportunity for a voluntary surrender.

A handful of days post that, Trump was processed and led through a Manhattan judicial facility post presenting himself to district attorney investigators. However, he was spared from some procedural formalities, like the obligation to be handcuffed or having a formal arrest photo captured.

According to the official site, the majority of individuals detained in Fulton County are escorted to the primary incarceration facility located on Rice Street, a little away from Atlanta’s city center and in proximity to Bankhead, a community well-known for its local hip-hop heritage.
